PawCards Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026

PawCards is an app that helps dog grooming businesses keep digital records of their clients and appointments. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled — for both groomers using the app and their clients.

1. If you're a groomer using PawCards

When you create a PawCards account, we collect your email address, business name, and your name. This is used to run your account, personalise the app, and let you log in securely.

Your account is your own — the client and appointment records you create are visible only to you. Other PawCards users, including other groomers, cannot see your data.

If PawCards introduces paid subscriptions in future, we would also collect payment-related information, handled through a secure third-party payment provider — we would never store your card details ourselves.

2. If you're a dog owner / client

Grooming businesses use PawCards to keep records about you and your dog — such as your name, address, email, phone number, and details about your dog (breed, age, medical conditions, care preferences, and grooming history). This may be entered by your groomer directly, or by you, if your groomer sends you a link to submit your own details.

This information is used solely by your groomer, to provide grooming services to you and your dog. It is not shared with other groomers or any other business using PawCards.

If you sign a grooming agreement through PawCards, we store your typed name and the date you confirmed it, as a record of that agreement.

3. Where your data is stored

All data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider, hosted within the EU. Access to the underlying database is restricted and protected by access controls that keep each groomer's data separate from every other groomer's.

4. How long we keep data

We keep data for as long as an account remains active, or as long as a groomer keeps a client's record. Groomers can delete a client's record at any time within the app.

5. Your rights

You can ask the groomer who holds your information to correct or delete it. If you have concerns about how your data is handled, you can also contact us directly — see below.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of PawCards after a change means you accept the updated policy.
